Richard Cadena

Richard is a working professional in the live event production industry. After many years in the industry as a tech, designer, consultant, and electrician, he wrote a book called “Automated Lighting: The Art and Science of Moving Light.” Then he started to get calls asking for training, which led him to write another book called “Electricity for Entertainment Electricians & Technicians.” Today, he  leads classes and workshops, offers online training, and speaks regularly at colleges, universities, and industry events.  He still enjoys working concerts, television, movie production, theatre, and corporate events. But he says, “my greatest joy in life is sharing knowledge and information through my classes, workshops, books, and magazine articles.
